England’s women cricketers showed Alastair Cook and Co how to do it with a convincing Ashes win over Australia.

Natalie Sciver hit 66 as the hosts started the seven-match series with a four-wicket ODI victory at Taunton.

Georgia Elwiss and Katherine Brunt steered England passed the Aussies’ 238-9. And Sciver admitted: “It was tough- Australia bowled really well.”
